If you are on the market for a new flat iron, but don't want to spend a lot of money, you may want to give the Remington S-2004 a try. I washed/Conditioned/Rollerset my hair and let it air dry. I then applied a heat protectant and setioned my hair making sure each section was untangled BEFORE straightening. My hair came out straight and shiny, but since I was going out that evening and wanted to make sure I still had curls, about 2 hours before going out I put it back in rollers and when I took it out my hair was still shiny, straight and also had body. With my Conair flat iron it usually took forever to do because it would constantly snag on the way down and (and i'd have to start over) AND i would have to go down each section slowly. it's good to know that I don't have to worry about doing that anymore as the Remington is snag free and glides down the hair easily. This product really worked well for me and I am so happy I purchased it.

A quick review of the Conair Wet 2 Dry Straightener. Love this tool! It makes life easier, and who doesn't like that? Buying information: www.conair.com For those of you who have expressed concerns about metal plates and the fact that the tool was , thank you for your opinion and concern. Everyone has a right to one, and I love hearing what people think. Not everyone is going to have the money to spend 0 on a ceramic straightener. Yes, I do have one, and I use it every other day to touch up my hair. The Conair is just an option. After using it for awhile now, I still don't notice any damage, but I take really good care of my hair. I use low heat, heat protectant, and great conditioners. If you have money and are going to straighten your hair at pretty high heat every day, by all means invest in a ceramic, but don't rule out inexpensive tools just because they are inexpensive.
